1000 and protools

has anyone used there 1000 through protools with midi.This is mainly why i wanna buy my 1000.I wanna record my shit through midi on protools with each sound on there own track and edit add effects master compress from there.Is this possible with 1000.please tell me

Why wouldn't you want to record audio from the mpc to the pro tools. You can do more, such as burn your beats and add more effects like compression and reverb.
