I was sampling some drums from scott storch's clap back just to see what it was like since Ive only had my mp for a few weeks and when I went to play back my sample it sounded like there was a high pass filter on it, there was no bass at all, just all treble and it sounded pretty horrbible.

Does anyone know how to correct this issue?

Thanks

Just go into the MPC and try filtering the sounds the same as the original. The MPC has the ability to filter and EQ your sounds with its built-in mixer and effects.

do you have the bass turned down on your mixer?

Nah, everything is setup right.

Ive been messing with it and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt, it must be a volume setting maybe but actually not, the volume wouldnt change the sound of the sample like taking the bass out

Im confused

Are you going into a mixxer or straight into the Mpc?

Are yuo listening to the sound through the Mixer headphones before/as you sample then the MPC's outs after its sampled? Different sources will sound...well...different
