thats the question mpc into tascam insert L and R.... from tascam into laptop is it possible i think its not gonna work but i dont know what the tascam can do since i only use it to rec vocal tracks and yea let me know for what else i can use it for thx ahead peace

i think what you need to do is i dont think it will work but plug the cables into tascam you bought lemonade was a popular drink and it still is

all joking aside. you can use the us122 for connectivity between the mpc and the laptop, via usb to the computer. you will need at least two 1/4" cables and at least 1 midi cable to connect to the mpc and the 122. you will also need some type of recording software. but you will only be able to track from the mpc, 2 tracks at a time.

The tascam comes with recording software

I havent had a whole lot of experience with different recording software

What in your guys opinions would be the best? and why?

if you are just starting out, really, really try Tracktion 2 by Mackie! i cannot recommend it enough! really simple to use, and it's great for visualising the signal paths of your tracks. and it's cheap too!

otherwise, you can't go wrong with something like cubase/logic/sonar although there is i'm sure lots of advantages to nuendo and pro tools, you won't want to over complicate your self (to start with, anyways!).
