when i said delayed, i was referring to Sparq's contact telling him that Akai were going to originally release the HDM-10 kits with OS 2.0, but they didn't for some reason or another.

Sparq, since you seem to be able to communicate with these guys at akai. Please ask them to step in the 21th century communication wise.
I mean, this ain't os2 related-nor bashing, but their website is almost never updated, the new akai-pro.jp site is awfull, and seems to be a time machine. I don't know wether someone applied to that position that's on akaipro.us website, but they should really make a real website, with regular updates. It won't help any of us, but it'll feel like they care. Maybe they could make employee's blogs or sumthin, and a decent feedback procedure which would avoid the hatin in here.
I understand akai PRO doesn't have to have a real website since their customers aren't that many, but since they're in the hobbiist field they should provide some decent website.

If you don't receive it right after NAMM don't be upset. A couple months ago I put some info out there and was attacked. I have now read thru some of the site and I don't think none of us know each other as some of you have put it. Don't assume to know me. I have some more to share but I will not respond how I know, so don't ask. The Black 1k's will not hit shelves until next month. They have been shipped from Asia. The OS will be forthcoming when the US site is updated. The update is free. NAMM has nothing to do with the release date of the OS. The release of the OS will be more closely aligned with the Black 1k's in stores. You cannot remove the OS from the Black 1k. Don't take this to mean to the day. Things don't work like that. I am providing this info so some of you can just wake up. Even inside the company things weren't even decided yet. ALL INFO PROVIDED BY AKAI. All info subject to change. AND I DON'T HAVE THE OS! DON"T ASK!!!!!!

no offence i know i havent been around long well i registered in august i shouldnt be opening my mouth but in most of these treads ya always trow sparq name like its fault he just told us and i see SOME[SOME] of ya are saying why u filled us in in the info sparq but if he didnt ALOT of ya would of sold ur mpcs and then be trying to find one when the info dropped just saying no disrespect
