Deleting onboard sequences

I just bought a mpc 1000. It wont let me delete the on board sequences that come with the machine.. i tried looking for them when i connect it to the computer but they are no where to be found.. i saved out all my drumkits and formated the card but when i put my sounds back in they are still there... can anyone help me out?

the autoload feature is explained on page 83 in the manual

welcome to the boards. but you would be able to find your answer faster by either doing what was said, (look in the manual) or by doing a search on this site. by using the search function properly, you would be able to find 99% of your answers here.

I did a quik search of the boards but couldn't find anything... I tried what it said in the manual but they are still there... I even re named the autoload folder.... And took out the file "all sequences all songs"... But I don't know.. Ill try the manual again...
