saving?

i was looking through the manual that i got from akaipro.com for the z4/8. im using an mpc 2000 and in the manual it says u can save to the mpc's hard disk, but when i go to save sounds the only options it gives me is
f-rom which has 0 bytes floppy and scsi. any way to save my sounds to the mpc? do i have the wrong manual?

If I understood your post correctly you're reading a z4/8 manual to figure something out about the MPC2000, right? Bad idea, two completley different machines. The 2000 has no internal hard drive. Try downloading the 2000xl manual, there are some signifigant differences between the 2000 and 2000xl but I think it could still help you.
