I was wondering if its possible to get the mpc1000 .pgm file format specs? Are they the same as the mpc2000xl?

I have the pgm file format spec and no, it is not the same as the other models.

i reverse engineered the start of the spec (header,sample name,level,velocity,filter) for a small python script so I can make my own mpc1000 pgms by running a script in a directory. It just makes things easier when you have the full spec rather than changing one setting and the comparing with a reference file (not to mention better for the usb plug on my mpc ) :-)

hey MPC3000 can you please find out what engine the 1000 uses?
does it use the s2000 like the XL?

Hey hey MG. You intend to include MPC 1K pgm format exports in MPC Editor V4? Dunno how easy or difficult this is, but as I am probably going to be replacing my 2k with the 1k, it'd be a boon.
