gated reverb

Is there a way to gate the reverb effect?

sample it and chop the tail off...thats what gated reverb is, a reverb with the tail gated abruptly

Originally it would have been done using a seperate noise gate connected to the reverb's output.

A lot of digital reverbs & multi fx have gated reverb settings.

Most compressors have on board gates....out your reverb into such a unit and tweak to taste....
