I just do the beats for the local Kats until I get on the map. I don't bring'em to the crib cause I don't want'em "BORROWING" stuff when I ain't home noemsayin....Burgalrizing my spot where me the wifey and kids sleep....so If it Bangs in Burban, and the club, I'm straight..... Pre production or not, I aint on that professional level yet. I'll get my own studio environment when I get more sort after...But that is good information. I'll keep that in mind. I don't have any training in audio sound spectrum or wave propagation....all my stuff is done internally. What matters to me is how it records on CD....I do have some flat spots in the room where the bass seems to cancel out. I guess you could say the "0" portrion of a Bass sine wave from and 808 boom... But on the whole I got my settings set perfect for my sound system in the SUV and What sounds good there sounds even better in my mans club. ..... I haven't had any complaints. Good observation though.

speaker placement is definately key.. if youre dumping 100's into speakers take the time to set them up as effectively as possible. thats some good info from sos

I orders a new desk from officemax.com just waiting for them to get it in. but yeah. all portable shit here. i can go to anyones house and handle their tracks for them. i just need a laptop now for wav editing, usb functions and cd burning. but other than that i'm straight. tell me what yall think. peace. if its anything u need to know, its that the lower-end behringer mixer are doo doo. it looks like u have a nicer mixer on the last pic next to your boss recorder. the black and yellowish-orange piece.

oh yeah... to tell u the truth, if u are kinda low on cash, you dont really need a desk. get some ply wood and cinderblocks or crates. i use crates and old desk pieces--i like the crates cuz they double as storage and support.

and for genreal record storage--get the ikea expedit. its about $100 for the smaller one, but it is well worth the cash. you will definitely love it. frees up sooooo much space and keeps ur wax safe w/o the danger of warping via square crates

and one more thing--get some better cables--esp for the mp, man. sound quality is a must. the radio shack converter thingies will last only so long--pick up some cables from guitar center. I think they're having a sale on em or somethin--i was there about a week n a half ago.

werd. i was gonna buy some plywood on friday. i have all the cinderblocks already. yeha i knowm those radio shack plugs are idiculous. i am waiting for prosound to send me my 1/4" plugs. i ordered a 12 pack of them. i mainly use that behinger mixer for the headphone monitoring. yeah. it was cheap. i am saving for athe mackie gear though. not sure what i'm gonna get either. but yeah good lookin on that. peace

Yea man, After i got a Digi 001, I need everything alot closer, I couldn't deal with all the space between all my gear.
