okay guys, another vs thread....sorry

Roland is presenting a new sampler, and i must say it looks nice... 128 polyfonie, usb integration with motorized faders, computer editor enz. enz...

Ofcourse i won't sell my mpc, but i might want to check this box to.. what do you think about it?

looks good, depending on price and final feature list, i might sell my 1k for it,im done dealing with akai,for a loooooong time.im not even gunna buy a hard drive for my 1k,a feature i would love to have.why you ask? just so akai doesnt see my 40 bucks for that stupid hdm, sumthin that shoulda came with the 1k in the first place.808 looks promising

Dunno man, the Roland looks a bit gay. That's not to say the 1k looks really masculine and hard! I'd have to get my hands on one and demo it first before making that decision.

For usability, and from experience, I'd stick with my 2kxl. The Roland looks ok, but it's layout doesn't look too friendly.

Man that groove box looks not to my tasting, it might have some kool mixing features to fine tune your work but i`ll stick to my MPC's, akai is doing good.

rolands pads are wack, i love hte 1k's pads, maybe because i never really used any other mpc
