wheres the pads and the lcd screen. honestly i was interested, im sure it'll be sick cos roland do make wkd products, but i dont really need motorised fadars....i dont think i do...shit damn capitalism, i want one!!!

not a big fan, i only watch it when i have time. i just record it to my homies dvr and hopfully i watch it before he deletes it, its not funny sober, you gotta be stoned from your concious before you watch it though.

Roland usually make descent quality stuff. That mc 808 looks awkward though. And I question how easy that thing is to use. I'll stick to my MPC 1000. to each his own though.

Yes, they seem to just keep repackaging everything...I do like the SP series...outside of the 505.

i've never seen an OSupgrade on a Rolandmachine that actually gives new refined fuctions. just minor bugfixes

i'll give it to AKAI for actually try making the machines better with their OS udates (when it finally lands)

Yes you can diss the sp series, they're pieces of shit. But I **** wit that mv 8000 a few times and damn after the little learning curve i had, i was lovin it. The pads do seem bigger and softer, they are a bit more responsive than my 1000's pads IMHO.

I think the mc-808 is better then the "current" mpc-1000 IMO. No time stretching?!? come on.
