Im Mixing in Acid and i get this sounds that i can really only describe as an electronic "snap" everytime i press stop on the program. ive played around with things and cant find a solution to the problem. The snap sound didnt come untill I started mixing in the baseline track. any advice? thanks in advance.

I used to have the same problem mixing in Sony (Formerly Sonic Foundry) Vegas, which is similar to Acid. I dont think there is anything you can do about it. I believe it is caused by the bassline stopping mid-cycle. It's annoying, I know, but as far as i know there's nothing you can do about it.

yep, mid cycle.

sudden volume drop/increase.

same reason for pops and clicks in a sample.

no, the pop will not show up when you play the cd.
