Soyo, just wanted to give some thanks and respect for bringing this one up...It's rare these days when I find useful things on the boards, but this is certainly one of the coolest things anyone has brought up.
So have you really been able to get rolls and such with this method? Seems like the ideal way to get tricked out kick-snare figures and such....though using two mics your neck could get a bit sore; Occupational hazard I suppose.
I've been using this yamaha footswitch as a kick pedal, but it's a little clunky to be useful for most applications....this seems like a much better plan.

I cant find the footswitch jacks on my MPC(2KXL)
do they come with the output expander?
I thought the XL had em???
