this is a sweet day . got a show later at 10 just got my 40dollar 128 ram upgrade in the mail 10 min ago. istalled. now os2 u cant tell me anything today

Just installed it. Works FU King beautifully. Real-time pitch and filter controls. No more step-time filters with the sliders. Wow, Akai really out did themselves this time. I owned the XL and this thing blows it out of the galaxy. I sold my Xl (owned since it came out) for $1200, bought this for $600. Best investment I have ever made. Finally a company that gives people what they want for basically nothing and all it took was patience.

did I say thank you akai?

I think anyone who owns a 1000 should thank Akai for this upgrade. I own almost a $15k studio and have had gear upon gear. I have never seen an upgrade like this.

For real though (and Sparq, you might wanna make a sticky).....

All you hard heads who bugged akai to DEATH about this should also be picking up the phone with that same intensity and telling them thank you and how much you appreciate it. Everyone is always quick to criticize but never wants to praise. 8)
