when you install the new one, it overwrites the old one. there is nothing that you need to do in terms of removing the old one.

thanks duke. u were on that **** quick and i apreciate that. but yeah i did try without removing it and it only recognized the old 1.07 OS... then i tried removing it and only putting the new one in and that made it work. thanks again

yeah, you can only have 1 bin file on the cf card that you use. i was talking about you don't need to remove the old one from the mpc. the reason why it only recognize the old one for you is because you had more than one bin file on your CF card... right?

come on ant, you seen my videos, right? i showed that. the way that you would do it is by holding the after button while moving the q-link slider in trim mode.

i feel like i'm brand new to this all over again, i love it...

aha - i meant while in slice mode, not just in trim mode. oh well, practice will make perfection expedient.

faster than recycle, anyway--although i will still use that to make my drum pgms.

im so HYPE.... a LONG friday of classes, and at the end of the day my boy wants to copy a page out of my book...we go into this building, and right next to the copying room is a guy on the akaipro website mpc 1000 in hand... all i said was "YO IS THAT SHIT OUT!!?!?!" and he goes "that shit is out" i was GONE.... its a nice day in philly....

dude iv been very short with my customer today lol i wana go home so bad its killing me i feel like slapping my supervisor cuz i have to work today lol
