with messing around with pitch shift i got a really gritty sound when i pitch shift -2 sounds similar to jessiahs glitch. when working with my kick it sounds prety damn griiiiittttttttttttttttttttttty! ever gritttttttier when its -3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12!

dont know if this is me but you cant hold tap tempo and use your midi keyz at least it aint working for me it did in 1.07 but im still happy

Has anyone seen this as of yet.........

i was messing around with the new features and i had roughly 40mb of samples loaded with 12 sequences. I had 2 songs converted into sequences. when i went to create a third song this machine froze up on me and then started playing random samples i had loaded (as if it was scanning through my samples) up until i got that high hissing noise from bad wav files. a moment later it stopped but was frozen. anyone see this before?


not to mention i didnt save and all of that was lost.

so you were able to use the qlink on your external gear? thats cool as hell.

Nope. It will erase your message when it installs the new OS. But I just put in my name again and it works fine.

GOT MY 1000 FROM SOMEONE WHO SAID IT WAS SITTING FOR OVER A YEAR IN THE BOX AND IT STILL HAS OS 1.03 - CAN YOU GUYS TELL ME THE PROCESS I NEED TO GO THROUGH TO GET TO THE LATEST OS? DO I HAVE TO LOAD 1.5 THEN UPRADE TO 1.7 THEN 2.0? IF SO WHERE CAN I GET THE 1.5 VERSION SINCE ITS NOT ON THE AKAI WEBSITE ANYMORE?
AS ALWAYS ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

dowload 1.07, install 1.07 (put os .bin file onto cf card, then restart ur mpc, holding erase button, and it should be obvious), once 1.07 is installed u should b able to then instal os 2, its all on the akai-pro.com website how to do this in full
