well my advice is to upgrde your mpc but giving back to your friend because you cant even upgrade A SIMPLE OS, how do you expect yourself to make music when you can even read and compute to download the lastest os and work? are you 5 years old? because my homies lil bro can upgrade his mpc 1000 and hes only 10. are you 9 or something?

not bashin im just saying its kinda strange for people to make complex music when they cant even make a simple STEP BY STEP upgrade.

It just seems people dont want to dig up the information. How do i expect someone to dig up the creativity or create it to make beats if they cannot type and search for something that is already there...? it just makes no sense to me, does anyone else agree with me when i say that people sometimes just want our ass's handed over to them when they cant even work hard off their ass? do they want it on a silver platter with those os 2.10v tips and tricks? i mean come on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! anyone???

real talk, just immagine on the buisness side cats wanna cop beats but decide not to when the discover that the beat maker can't even upgrade the OS in his/ her own equipment. it creates a level of skepticism and reluctancy to fool with cats like that.

not at all. however, until the newness wears off, yes. what we really want to do is confine the amount of problems everyone is experiencing to one thread. i have a running list of what problems you are having and it makes sense to keep them in one thread. once the newness wears off then it's open threads again. just like what went on in the 2.5k section.

Try holding the window button while booting.

have to do all that! Just download the O.S . make sure you have winzip, open the zip file leave it open. plug you 1k up to the PC. here's the direction on what to do it's that simple.

all your doing is dragging the bin file over to the CF card. Turn off the MPC ,then turning it on while holding the window Key , then hit the record button. If you have problems hit us back someone will help.
