The New OS Shows a Blank Screen After I Install

popn ppl...i jus installed the new os and after it installs it shows a blank screen...i followed the instructions carefully as well. did ne1 else get this?

or try holding ERASE on turning it on to reset.

Before this gets locked, I would just like to say, that Serenity is a very good yet highly slept on movie.

heres the fix, backup all ur stuff on the flashcard to the computer. that means revert back to the old os, once uve backed up all ur stuff from the cfcard go ahead and put the new bin file in ur cfcard. turn off the mpc let it reboot lay ur finger on the window button dont release ur finger till it ask u u if u want to install new found os hit rec for yes. and let me know once it reboots itself if the version u are running is the new version u can find that out in mode pad other.

ohh ya the mpc will reboot itself dont u dare turn it off for any reason until u are in the main screen of the mpc witch is after it shows the intro window of ram and shit.

hey guys, just wanna share my experience.

I upgraded from 1.06 without problems (you dont need 1.07 afaik)

thing is the LCD contrast was really low when it booted the new os...
I thought, weird, but a quick look at the manual settled it

p.88: "Adjusting the contrast of LCD
You can adjust the contrast of the LCD display by turning the DATA wheel with holding [SHIFT] key. Adjusting the contrast of LCD can be done in any page."

so maybe you people with this kinda problem can try that, just to make sure the contrast isnt turned all the way down for some odd reason
