thanks akai. though IMO the os 2 should have been on the machine when akai released it...

Thanks to everyone at Akai who worked on this.

You exceeded my expectations, and really seemed to include many many of the features that people having been requesting.

(I hope you're not all too tired now to keep an eye on bugfixes that might be necessary! ;) )

When I first bought my 1k with os1.07 i returned it... i was a little choked about the sliders not being realtime, no track velo, etc. But I bought it again because I still decided it was the most creative realtime/performance sequencer. I was happy enough with it, but always wished it compared more to the electribes or something in realtime sound tweaking... and now it does!!! I've gone from being 'satisfied' to being 'excited'. It's now one of my favorite instruments and using it is bringing a smile to my face.

Although I never complained about the wait, I do want to say "thank you" for the delivery of the new os. This thing is killer! :lol:

thanks Sparq for the headsup... without knowing OS2 was comming (and what it could do) I would of sold my 1k cause of the pads...

now i'm gonna wait 'til the Oz distributor gets the parts in (i'm using an external midi keyboard for now)
