I'm sending my MP off to the shop

after havinig it as soon as it droped in japan I gotta send it in for repairs. I have been using at less than 100 % :cry: for about 8 months. 3 pads are dead. One of the sides feel off, and my F5 button is smashed. I have had this things from Japan to iraq to singapore to hong kong to the land down under and back to the US. She has survied sevearl ship rolls where she dropped and been in my backpack bumping up against god knows what and she still powers up everytime. She is a tank but the real moral of this story is don't abuse her like I did you might not get this lucky. :cry: :cry:

dam, sorry to hear that. did you at least get a chance to load 2.1 yet?

I feel ya bhunt. I just dropped my MPc1k off at VST on Friday, and htey said their turnaround time is 2-3weeks. Mines up their with yours. I've already had 4 defective pads fixed by VST earlier this year, and here we go again more bad pads, plus I'm sellin it to a friend, and want everything checked out before the warrantys up in 2 weeks.

it took over a year for my pads to go pad. I'm kinda pissed and wanna get a different module, but the little box can do so much so I gotta deal with this flaw. I'm an electronics tech so after this repair i'm doign all the pad repairs myself.

you can repair em really well with thermal grease and tin foil!
