How often do the updat the OS

ok, I jut picked up the 2500, and im also new to the Akai family. just as a ruff idea, how often do they update the OS on these machines and whens the next time they expect to update the system? Also, is there a way to check the current OS that im running right now?

can't give you a concrete answer on the update issue. whenever they get around to it basically.

you are running the 1.00b os. believe that all 2500s were shipped with this os. for my info check out akaipro.com and go to the support page to check out the most recent os udates.

to check ur OS just hit the mode button then pad 10 (other), and under the global tab at the top left it should say Version 1.00B
