chops in mono?

when i slice a stereo sample up how come the new chops are in mono? They dont sound as good this way obviously and the new chops dont have (ST) by thier name. Any way around this?

for right now this is how it is meant to be. the same with patch phrases. the way around that is sample in mono. or rerecord what you have, in mono then chop. the 2.5k is the same way. only the left channel will be used.

thats kind of a dissapointment, but i guess a nasty mid 90's grimy feel is always good. thanks sparq

if you extract the slices individually from the slice page they will stay stereo.
a lot of extra effort though, depends how badly you want them stereo i s'pose.
mono is fine for me in most cases

if you wanna sterop sample there are a few tricks you can use. THis is what I normally do to get a fuller sample. I put the sample on 2 pads and pan them bothhard to left and right and add a little delay to one of the sides.

Naaah, That's just faking a stereo sound but it's a nice little effect though.

yeah thats what its meant to be a trick. They only real way for a stereo sample is a stereo sample.
