Hi all,
this is my first "real" post here and i write to u in near panic!

I was reaching over to lay some grooves down on my Mpc-60 (mk1 os 3.03) and i found that it had frozen up in the main menu.
Nothing responds when i hit any of the buttons but the marker is flashing.
I tried to reboot it and i loads up to the main menu, it even loads samples from disks but everything is just frozen!!!

I´ve opened it and disconnected and connected all cables and jumpers but nothing happens!!

Could it be a powersupply issue??

It have been work fine for over a year and i didn´t do anything special today to "hurt" her.

I would be very happy for any input in this matter as igot a really important project to finish this week and i can´t do shit without my mainman60.

if it loads and boots fine then the PSU should be fine, check the panel board ribbon connectors, it seems that the buttons are not registering. also boot it without a floppy inside, see what happens.

Thanx for the quick response!

I´ve tried to boot without a floppy and it´s just the same...

I guess I´ll have to check all the ribbon connectors and stuff again tommorow, if nothing happens im taking her to professional tech-dude.

This is just out of the bue,. but is there's some batteries to flip out, to restet bios inside. that is what i've done in old computers when i had a black screen, or a "frozen" screen. It helped the graphic card to reboot.
maybe..??
