Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

Ok here is my dilema:

I have a Behringer DDX3216 Digital mixer that can act like a controller. I have everything hooked up for a one button operation from the mixer.

The problem Im having is triggering the MPC correctly. It will play with the mixer play button, but it will not play from the beggining of the track. Its like it skips the first two beats in the track. meaning......

kick kick snare - kick kick kick snare

the first two kicks do not play...it goes straight into snare.

I've looked all over the mpc manual and the behringer manual and I can't come up with a solution.

Can anyone who is familiar with MTC syncing help with this one?

TIA

I'm not familiar with it like that , truth is I just started synching mine up with my multi tracker like 2 days ago. However from what you posted about the time delay I think you could fix that in your MPC's midi screen. Look at the start time I can't remember the exact scene's correct name but there 's where you might want to start. Say, why don't you use the midi time clock mode. It's more accurate!

MTC needs a couple seconds to get locked properly. Always start with at least 2 blank bars. All kinds of MTC info at mpc2000xl.com

thanks..thats gonna be hard start a loop with two blank bars :( , I got used to putting in my drums after the 1234 click on the metrodome...yikes....back to the drawing board.

"thanks..thats gonna be hard start a loop with two blank bars"

hey dude, if you're in song mode (or you already got a long sequence that doens't need to loop) there's a function that'll let you add blank bars to the beginning of your sequence (it's in the manual somewhere)
