has anyone figured out midi?

ok after fooling with this for a while now, i still cant get the mpc to start the sequence through midi. has anyone figured this out yet? if so please post back with how.

im tryin to midi my mp1000 through protools with each sound on there own track .I need to know is this is possible

MPC 1000 JJOS

i7 Quad Core
2.7 Ghz (w/3.7 Ghz Turboboost)
16gb Ram
Windows 7 Pro 64-Bit

Check out this thread, this thread applies to the 2000xl but I'm pretty sure it works the same on the 1000.
