i dont know of any hiphop rappers, but i know of a dnb producer who often works in other time sig's and sometimes use mc's
and you should be able to achieve cool results in mixing 5/4 beats with 4/4 rapping...

yep.
Also I'm not sure about a 5/4 beat but I know biggie and jay z rapped on Brooklyn's Finest which is a 5 bar loop. But actually wouldn't a 4 bar 5/4 beat be the same as a 5 bar 4/4 beat....

Mathmatically, yes. But not musical phrasing wise.
There are several different possible ways to transcribe any given musical passage. You choose the one which best implys the phrasing of the passage you're transcribing.

yes check out Steve Coleman's Tale of 3 Cities, I think thats teh one..its got live tracks in paris on it, I can't remember the rappers but its got ya 5/4's, 6's along with ya other compound time sigs...I think reggie washington's on bass for it too and has probably teh best 5 string tone I've ever heard..
