Can people jack you off Myspace?

My mans just showed me how he yanks peoples tracks for personal use (he's an emcee)..by recording them right off the net onto Soundforge and Wavelab. Real ill and scary, been the biggest reason why I been laying real low....not that anybody is gonna swift the majority of us, but still...you never know who got nice skills like you could recognize a loop, do it up for them self and take the fame.

Honestly, I don't consider the internet emcee to be ominous. I am a man of integrity; I suspect that the types of emcees seeking music like mine are of equal respect. Try going the DJ CLUE route and vocally stamp your name all over the beat. It's extremely annoying, but it will provide an ultimate sense of security to you: the artist. And the last reason for you to post music to "MY SPACE" - I want to hear your sh!t man!! hahahah--

cool.

Not everyone got good morals though. It was quick how dude literally recorded the whole beat onto soundforge/wavelab, chopped it, sent that sh*t to FruityLoops, added some effects, tweaks here and there and bam, son had his own unique beat that sounded a little different, still hot, but he stole it and modified it just like we do to old records. Spooky.


Drumz, I spent the whole day backing up files on my DPS onto CD and some songs on tape to my computer hd, itunes, and cd...maybe I'll load some stuff up in the future. I just got my compressor back from my friend so I can get back to the biz...

I got a spot but I dont think I even mention I use an MPC60 maybe I will get my Lady to takes some pics lookin fly with my 2 MPC's what yall think! :roll:
