This is a good tutorial I found from another site...When you are saving your sequences and songs you arent saving your samples, you have to save those seperately or you could save the entire memory or create a new folder like

Hmm...do you have to register there to watch it?

Basically, to save your samples, just choose "Save Programs and Samples" additional to "Save Sequences and Songs".

The "Save Entire Memory" Function does both of this, and additionally saves things as effect setting or input thru settings. But you are still able to seperately load your programs, samples and sequences after you saved your work with "Save Entire Memory". Now just do all this in an own directory for your new track and that's about it.

Peace,
Stilo.

Hell noooooooooooo!
Man I was doing it right. Peeps this $#!+.

I did another track, started to save it in the folder on the harddrive that I have just for tracks. Tried to creat another folder insode that one and bang, the screen went blank for a few secords. So i hit a few buttons and it came back but I can't see any files on the harddrive.

I connected the 2500 to my PC to look into the harddrive and no files either. But the drive is saying the a bit over 6gb is used. I had about 6gb in sounds.

WTF????????????????????? this sucks man. tuen on turn off....no luck

So did ya manage to get your data back? And which harddrive are you using exactly?

I'm a little anxious to try and create subfolders in my folders now before i backed up my tracks :?

everything was was working find since Dec 1. man I hope they hurry with the no OS. the drive still show 6gb used and like 53gb free. but i can't see the files. Did another track, saved it to the "ROOT/SYSTEM VOLUME IN" folder. it reloaded days later with no problems. Got think I still have hard copies of my sounds.

browsing throught the folders is very slow too. from the time u click the button to the time the folders change to the next is not fast at all. it kinda delayed. Even when browsing the memory card and internal memory.
