16 levels

quick question, I understand how to activate the 16 levels function however im not sure how to assign my choice of the 16 levels to a pad. Any help?

actually i am not sure what you are trying to say becuz if you have opened the 16 level window it will tell you what pad is in use....and it will have original pad assignment too....

Just to back up Prah, when u press the 16 level button, press the pad with the sample you want to 'spread' across the pads (select the parameter you want to use I.E Velocity or Note Var) then press F5/Turn On

real talk....sorry that i wasn't clear enough....some thing in the mpc are considered 2nd nature to me so i didn't explain in full..... thanx Brav

right think i need to explain this a bit better. Say i have selected 16 levels and chosen the sample to spread across the pads for example tuning. So now i have 16 levels of tuning. But how do i assign one of those 16 pads to its own individual pad and erase all the others. Hope i havn't confused u even more!

go into Program-Params-Tune change the tune to what you want it to be

well if you record your sample then turn off 16 levels it will only be on one pad which is the pad you selected from the start. You can always go back and turn it on and off. You can use all sixteen pads and turn it off and it will go back to one but it will be recorded as different tones/velocities.
