real quick question i need

answered because i cant turn mympc off before i do it.I dont know whow to do it but can anybody tell me quickest ways to free up memory.I have a sequence im trying to save but when i try to save it says "card is full".Is there any way to delete previous sequences without having to lose the sequence i currently have but not saved?

Theres' nothing else on the card that you can't delete?

Do you have any unused sounds saved/loaded that you can delete? If so, go into program mode and turn them off (so they're not assigned to any pads) and then purge to delete them all from the ram in one go. But when you re-save the .APS or .PGM file, it will not automatically delete these samples from the disk, which you need to do as they will be there from the last time you saved. So I would delete the entire folder you've been saving in, create a new one, and then save everything in the new folder.

.ALL and .SEQ files aren't that big so it shouldn't take much to free enough space.

i cant erse any sounds because imnusing them all for the sequence.i have approximately 70 samples,i cant believe its out of space it must be this new OS.

You can’t do the folder thing unless you have some sounds to erase.

That new OS is 300kb isn’t it? If you have that saved on your card, delete it for the time being. You probably have a copy on your computer, right? If not you can always download it again.

can you maybe cut some of the dead air off at the end of the samples?this is what i did when i ran out of memory on my mpc2000xl.
