My Mackie Speakers

My Mackie speakers sound very weak and I have a few questions...

1) Is it OK to run 2 of my Mackie speakers through a compressor at a live setup?

2) Does it matter what type of compressor I use in this type of situation?

3) Am I better off getting a sub-woofer?

is it the speakers or your music? Not tryin to be rude but... If you are mixing your beats on house speakers rather that monitors you are going to have difference in sound. The house speakers color the sound a lot more and give you a false sense of level and quality.

What kind of mackie speakers? PA or studio monitors?

I'm using them for DJing at weddings.

wtf, is weak...........not enough bottom, mids too harsh, roll off in the top end, not loud enough, etc......
