harddrive problem

I got this harddrive out of at laptop but it's broke i put the harddrive in my mpc it picks up the harddrive it then says it has no memory left so i go to format on the mpc its says it cant do it , is there any to get to the computer read the harddrive out of the mpc so i can format threw the computer using fdisk. dont forget the laptop dont work so i cant do it in there

just leave the drive in the mpc and connect the mpc to the computer via usb and run the format command on the drive thru the computer.

then i would say the hard drive is bad. you stated that you snatched it from a broken laptop?

i would just go out and buy a brand new drive.

it came up before when u told me to do it , i went to put the screws in and it didnt come up anymore
