Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

wsup peeps,
i've been having trouble with my 2kxl lately,everytime i try and save some samples or save sounds it says "disk read error".i've had my mpc for about 3 months now and never had this problem.what do you think might be causing this? has anybody been having this problem?
if you know anything hit me up,this is bugging me out!

It's one of two things homie, either that floppy is full or that floppy is garbage now. Never lay your floppies around magnetic sources like speakers as they will demagnatize your disk and either erase your stuff or make the disk unreadable. In any event get a new disk. Then if it still happens you may be having a O.S. problem. unlikely but something to consider.

cool thanks blaz,i think it is the floppy cuz i dropped it twice so maybe it's already f***ed up.i'm gonna try it out later and let you know whats up.

sometimes- i put the floppy back into the pc- reformnat the floppy, recopy and it works- far from ideal but has helped me when i take floppies of my beats round to my mates mpc based studio....
