timestrech

i wanna sample something speed up the pitch then time strech the pitched up sample but the only way i would know how to do thtis is put the sample in a pgm, pitch it up there but if i go back to timestrech it will timestrech my original sample not the pitched one, what do i do?

take the sample : go to mode:trim:edit:pitch shift/Pitch shift +00.00 up hit do it. then go back to trim mode: edit: timestretch however you want/
