Recording from the Digital Input on the 2500

I've been recording from my analog outputs and the sound is pretty good, I switched over to spdif and I noticed the sound is kind of thin, does any one else notice this or is it just me?

One of the first things I did when I picked up the 2500 4 months ago was to sample via the SPDIF inputs. I connected my Proteus 2000 to it and it faithfully recorded it with no audio degradation.

well i can't say i hear any degradation to be honest as you said the sound is "faithfully reproduced" it's just well... the sound reminds me of a wheat thin

without the crisp.

I'll leave it alone back to beats !

I can't call it then. My best guess is if you put wheat-thin in...you will still get wheat-thin out.
