need 1 soon for less than $150 please just tell me the one u have that works i dont need anything else except one that works

In that price range, I'd pick up an Art Tube preamp.

studio projects vtb-1, fairly cheap and widely recognized. nice warm sound.

My guess, is he wants a preamp for his turntable, not a mic preamp.

amplifying a mic or turntable (or anything) in a 'nice' way to get a warm sounding sample.

That one is cool. But, the one I'm talking about is a full rack space. The Hulk mpc was my friends. I did the paint job on it though.
