I bought an mpc2000xl off ebay and the zip was not working properly. Its not showing atapi as a selectable drive, only floppy and scsi. My question is-is it because you can't throw any old zip drive in there or is there a more major problem. Should I send the whole unit in to "vst" or just order the drive. Has anyone else had this problem before?
Ohhh and lamdog, I know you don't know me but I'm close to the bay, you think it would be at all possible if worst comes to worst you could point me in the right direction. I would feel a lot better if I could hit the bay and actually get this done other than having to blow money un-nessasarily by shipping off to so-cal so hit me up if you have a better way kid. 1
