MPC repairs downunder

hey,

just trying to find out if anyone knows of qualified MPC 1000 repairers in Australia or Asia. My second-hand MPC won't read from or even acknowledge the presence of the memory card, so it needs servicing pretty bad! Akai suggest posting it back to their factory or wherever they have second hand repairs going, but i figure there must be someone closer.

can anyone help?
