what other outboard/harware do you use w/ the 60?
s950, eps,w30,asr?? what elsle do you often use to bang ou tw/ the 60? why, what kind of sound does that give you??

imthinking about gettin an emax keyboard..theyre goin cheap, filters all the goods plus some keys...i kinda got some gear lust goin again this time i might just keep it instead of selling like usual..

i want to develop some different sounds...the s950 was ill but too much like the 60 in sound...

im lusting for:

rhodes 73 electric piano

eps16+ keys

maybe emax..

sp 12t

mixer

new monitors..

all those really can be found pretty cheaply w/ the exceptions of the rhodes and sp12t....the rest are $300 and under purchases..ebay baby!!

anyeway..what do you like to use alongside your 60..

ASR10 and the sound is mad warm. Mad effects and sound manipulation options to get that grimey feel and the works. I would rather have a 16+ thouhg beacuase the sound is much harsher from what i have heard (through my own ears). The ASR is very warm while the 16 is crunchy. I might cop a rack mount to compliment my ASR though. My 60 at the moment is out of order im lookin for a new unit or a 1200. Most likely a 1200! Also lookin to cop a s950... oh the options! Gear whores unit suckaaaa

I use the 60 with a S950 and a ASR-X
I can't recommend the X enough; very underrated piece and they come cheap too nowadays(over here, at least)
the name of the game is manipulation

only the suitcase models have the speaker, which is basically a fender twin amp. if you get a stage model (no amp), you can buy an amp separately, or any other average guitar amp that sounds good to you (valve amp preferably).

do some research on the internet, to know better about them (things to know about the condition) if you do plan on buying one

hmm....is the EPS16+ rack really that good? It's got 8 outputs, scsi and big memory?

I'd be willing to trade one of my S950s to experiment with this EPS. Get at me if anybody's interested.
