.all file conversion w mpc editor

Can you transfer sequence and song data from a 20
00xl to a 3000 ? Is there a function I am missing in MPC Editor. i have a tn of programs and songs in 2000xl format ( I just sold it ) and I would like to put them on my 3000.

I did about the same thing with the difference than my 2 2kxls are in the trunk of my bed atm. Some day I gotta transfer my old ish to the 3k...

Yeah ... I know. Directing "MPZ60" toward some other folks experiences seemed the right thing to do though...

Kind of a round about way of saying "no you're not missing anything in the MPC editor".

Pull those XL's out of your bed trunk "C.TOON" ... get that conversion thing happening

I actually had an MPC 3000 and used an MPC 2000xl live, but I found the 3000 had a punchier less harsh sound about it and it required less tweeking to get a proper mix out of it. I sold the 2000xl and It is a great drum machine but after my experiences with it I find the 3000 to sound warmer. As far as wav files are concerned I use MPC Editor to create drum programs from wav whenI actually use wav samples as most of my samples are sampled by me and saved in .snd format. I am having a tough time converting everything over as my jaz disk for my 2000xl crashed and the files I did backup on my PC are not loading back into the 2000xl properly. Some work some don't partly to my mistake in using longer than 8 character filenames in my earlier works. I love every MPC ever made and have owned them all with the exception of the 2500 which I am sure is great but for the majority of my work I would like to spend my time on one machine and the machine which actually sounds the best both input of sampling and output.

What about saving each seq as a midi file and placing that file in the 3000?
