Different places to find Vinyl

Whats up i'm up here in Michigan and i just bought a new turntable strictly for sampling. I was wondering where are some place besides the local record stores that i could find some vinyl? Maybe somewhere like the salvation army or something like that. I am new to diggin and I am just looking to get a clue. Thanks for your help. Peace

sounds like you got a clue. If you do it long enough you'll be able to "smell the records" like Cut Chemists friend T-Ray.

Go buy a the local newspaper.

Look for Estate Sales. They will usually list "records" if they have them.

Most of the time they will be a person's cache that recently passed away and their family is trying to sell off all the stuff.

I've found some dope records for real cheap this way.

And word, 3 years ago I couldn't find records for shhh.

Now...I'm getting a keen sense for finding records..I funkin love it.

There are a few,

Rock N Roll Heaven has a very nice selection, but they are expensive. They do have a lot of ish..

Park Avenue has a nice dollar bin selection.
I don't get out enough. On the weekends hit up a place called Flea World, north of Orlando it has a few good spots.

T-Ray, that fukin bastard! i'm from NC! nah, its cool he can keep his record shops as long as he stays the hell away from my thrift shops.
