Sorry for the weird title, but I didn't know any other way to phrase it.
I'm using logic to sequence and the mpc primarily just as a sound module. I only use one program at a time since the mpc1000 isn't multi-timbral while it is a "slave". My problem is that on playback, the program screen will always display whatever sample is being triggered. If I have a complex drum pattern, I'm sure you can imagine the program screen just flipping between samples constantly.
What I would like to do is prevent that from happening and keep the program screen locked in a sample so that I can pitch shift the sample in real time to see what fits. Is this possible?
Sorry if it seems unclear, but I'm not sure of any other way to explain it.
thx
