BET YOU THOUGHT OS 2.10 WAS RELEASED HUH?

To go with my MPC 2500---I maxed out my Roland JV2080 (appx 2900 patches!!!!!!!!)--I got the Country, Asia, Vintage Synths, Keyboards of the 60's and 70's, bass and drums, Latin, Vocal, and Session expansion cards. Don't sleep the 2080 is a BEAST-so many sounds on these card you CANNOT find elsewhere. I also copped a Motif ES and a Alesis ION. I am STRAIGHT when it comes to sounds. I suggest you get one!

Actually..many of the sounds of Roland's JV series expansion boards are now on the SRX series boards as well as CD Roms released by Roland over the past decade.......

But nice set-up regardless :D

which ones are the must haves ? My 2080 is unexpanded

I paid anywhere from $60.00 for open box cards. The average was like $90.00 with shipping for the majority and the keyboards of the 60's and 70's is HIGHEST in demand so it was like $170.00 Americanmusical usually has open box cards for 60--75, I got a couple from 8thstreet music and some off ebay. Put in sr jv80 on ebay and they'll all come up.

MUST HAVES ARE LATIN, VOCAL, ASIA, K.B. OF THE 60'S AND 70'S--THE PATCHES ARE OFF THE CHAIN. I FORGET BUT ON ONE WEBSITE YOU COULD LISTEN TO SOME OF THE SOUNDS. I'LL POST SOME BEATS IN A LITTLE BIT.

I have the Roland XP-60 and have the hip hop card and the dance card. I need to cop the Asia, Session instruments, Vintage Synths, Keyboards of the 60's and 70's and the latin cards. If you ever wanna sell, holla at ya boy!

Aw man I'm NEVER selling these--no need to buy any other gear for sounds. I tweak and edit patches like there's no tomorrow. I studied long and hard at the Sound modules I was gonna purchase and I made a wise decision. If you look long and hard enough you can find em dirt cheap. I used to have an XP- 30 but I wanted to expand more and 2 slots was DEF not enough for me. 8 slots on the other hand is what's up.

Yeah I just got the Fantom XR with the orchestral, ultimate keys, world connection, studio, platunum trax, and supreme dance srx boards. I have more than enough sounds for years to come. I think I have like 3500 sounds. Not to mention I have a virus classic, which adds another 1024 sounds to my arsenal.
