MPC2000 zip disks and Apple mac format?

Hi!

Just got a used MPC2000 original edition and I use an external zip-drive. I´ve put the sys and exe file of the OS 1.7.2 on the zipdisk but MPC doesn´t recognize any OS on the disk, the zip is formatted in Mac-format, should this be okey or should I have to format the disk in DOS to get MPC to be able to read it?

Tnx, you may be right, anyone knows if there´s anyway of formatting the zip disk in Mac OSX so that it will be fat16 formatted?
