MPC 2500 Triton Extreme Sonar 5 and MIDI data

what's good Everyone?



I have my Emu 1820 M connected to the MP as a master
1820 M -> MIDI OUT MPC 2500 MIDI in


and the Triton is slaved to the mp.

what i'd like to be able to is

capture the ACTUAL MIDI data in sonar 5

I know I have to use the MIDI in on the 1820 M but I don't know wether to go from the MIDI thru on the Triton Extreme, or risk using the (infamous) c,d MIDI ports on the 2500

as always any help is appreciated

sounds like you just need to turn on midi soft-thru.
