maybe it would be smart to look into the different mute options in the manual before calling your thread "major bug". (or if you did, to state in your post what these settings are and give more details of what you are doing).
or shall this thread be renamed "major newbie" ?

i sliced a sample into 8 slices and converted a new program of the slices. now i have slice1 on pad1 and slice2 on pad2 and slice3 on pad3 etc...
when i try to play slice1 and slice2 (pad1 and pad2) at the same time only one of them is being played.
or if i hit slice5(pad5) and hit slice8(pad8) while slice5 if playing, slice5 drops out(stops playing) and slice8 just goes on.

get it?

sorry for my english and tell me if i'm being stupid...

im having the same bug, i checked all the parameters and cant find a reason for this happening, nothing is muted...

and it always happens when i slice a sample and save all the sliced bits to a new program.

maybe it has to do with the release time that you can assign just before slicing?

From the manual :
"Release :
This sets the length that is added to the release after
dividing a sample. If you set this to larger value,
the release of the divided sample will be long and
the sample data will be larger in size as well."

or maybe not

Sounds like you have them in the same mute group, if so take them out meanin no mute group if thats not it change them all to mono if that dont work then reboot

Not mute groups at all, the whole program is set to "MONO", it does that by default when creating a program from the Slice screen.

Hit Mode>Pad 7 (Program). Press F3 for "PARAMS". In the upper right corner highlight "MONO" ans switch to "POLY" with the data wheel.

Should fix it.

thanx that sounds like a solution :)

but the most annoying thing is that it does this every time, even after reboot, like a default, and it would be great to adjust/switch off this cuz it's driving me crazy he he he

Try setting your Release between 30-35,giving the sample just enough time to reloop around. that should narrow down or solve your problem. 8) 8)
