mpc3000 memory

Hi--

I did research but couldnt find an answer. I have 2 extra 16 MB memory chips lying around, pulled from a 2000XL. They worked fine in it.

Are the memory chips for the 3000 the same as the ones for the 2000XL? My friend has a 3000 and I was gonna give him my memory chips if they are compatible.

The answer is NO.

MPC2000/MPC2000XL machines use 72 pinn SIMM chips.
