Cubase question: Delay in my MIDI sync

Hi i finally got the MIDI sync thing sorted so that when i press play in Cubase it triggers the MPC, the thing is that when it is triggering the sequence it is already a few seconds into the loop by the time it registers in Cubase, meaning the start of the loop is being cut out and the start is missing so it is causing me problem when trying to record MIDI data!

Is this to do with latency settings or somethin? i am using an MPC2000XL and Cubase SX 3 so is there some kind of delay setting in Cubase or the MPC that i am overlooking? Has anyone else encountered this problem? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!

I solved this one myself, so if anyone else has this problem u need to change the settings in MIDI/SYNC from MIDI TIME CODE to MIDI CLOCK and there is no delay that way when you play in Cubase, it triggers the MPC straight away! Fan **** tastic!
