yep 3.01 it is, and 16mb memory, So 3.11 is fine with me, and i dont like hve the os on a ddisk that can dissapear anytime..the only thing w the LE im a bit reserved from, is theese strange notes it has on the front. It doesnt look tekkno at all

yeah, it cost me 150 to ship a 60 to japan so that would be like 550 for the 3K you're interested in which is fishy, but still a couple bills more than I got the 3K LE for

Yo man, I wouldn't go for that if its the one from the "AKAI MPC 2000 XL,MPC 3000, MPC 4000 + SCSI ZIP, CD-ROM" advert on Ebay, where the guy tries to get you to contact his external e-mail. I used the contact the seller to ask what the shipping would be to the UK on the items, and I got an e-mail from Ebay saying that the persons account had been closed down. I then look today, and there are another 3-4 different ebay user names all displaying the same advert, with exactly the same pics and everything inside, so I think its definitely a scam.

It's probably the original floppy drive and those jumper setting are probably right. What does the light on the floppy do? Does the drive make noise when you try to save / load? Have you tried cleaning the drive yet?

sorry if im slow on the uptake but you got a mint 3kle for 350 US dollars????

In the pic it looks like the 3k and he 60 are almost the same size,......is it just the angle, or are they close? I thought the OG 60 was supposed to be the "beast"....

I've had it where the light turns on full time, and one time when it did it only when the disk was in I think...I flipped the ribbon cable around and put it in backwards once I think...what should it do?

I took it out and took the top off, sprayed some air in there, but didn't really delve too deep
