Actually if you run your turntable into a dj mixer then into a soundcard you can record into a sample editor like Cool Edit, Peak, or Sound Forge and edit your sample later transferring into whatever sampler you are using. You could even sample aka record into a DAW like Pro Tools and chop it up.

However from a mixer directly into an mpc or turntable into 4k is easier, more direct, and the way to go for most producers. As the history, art, and craft of dance production comes from djs on the ones and twos.

Learn the art of digging and the simplity of samplling for loop based production history and you wouldn`t have to suffer the indignity of asking an uninformed and I have to admit funny and humorous question.

I`m just trying to hip the new cat to history and understanding. I was shocked too; but, we got many new cats and I can`t say how old the cat is either joining the game so I gave a answer.

Even though it is important to know the history at least before anyone steps into the game its a love, passion, and art that is real to many people which is why the clowning happened to him.

I would at least admit that I didn`t know laugh and learn no biggie!

Pride can be a ****.

Humbleness to learn and grow is more important in the long run to get your questions answered.
